Timothy Forner lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and a Miniature Schnauzer who bears a striking resemblance to the title character of the Montgomery P. Schnauzer, P.I. series. This is coincidental, of course.  ;-)

They live in the big city, in a neighborhood with lots of dogs. As a result, he has many canine fans. The fact that he carries treats in his pocket probably helps.

He is a long time supporter of the ASPCA and other animal charities. He hopes his stories will encourage people to be kinder to animals (and to each other) and to adopt a shelter animal before purchasing a pet.

When crime strikes in his new neighborhood, a rescued shelter dog who thinks he's a detective, rises to the challenge.
